New Book out! "LOONIVERSE Stranger Things"
![]() |
I'm pretty excited to have my first published illustrations come out this last week! I got the call a little over a year ago to see if I was interested in working on this series of books. They're beginning chapter books with illustrations on each page, so they've been keeping me pretty busy. I just finished the final drawings for the third book and should be starting the 4th in a couple weeks. The series is really fun and with a lot of crazy stuff going on, so I've really enjoyed it. The rest of the upcoming series can be seen here.

IF: Egg
Nothing to fancy this time. Just an ink wash out of my sketchbook.
Kind of reach for the stars kind of thing (until you discover you can't fly).

Last of the set
I'm putting up the last of my barnyard poems, lest I forget and never put them up. I think "offspring" was my favorite, even though it may not be entirely appropriate for a kids book.
if "offspring" is confusing you can go ask an old farmer.

More Barnyard Poetry
I wonder how many people have to type on their blog something like "Wow it's been so long since I've posted something" for it to lose all meaning. What's that? We've already passed that point. Well ok then, I won't point out how long it's been and I'll just post something.
Not that one excuse is ever better than another, I will say that twins seem infinitely harder than any of our previous kids. Maybe infinitely is an exaggeration, but way harder than just double. That and the fact that I just finished the illustrations for the the second "Looniverse" books, both lend to the reason I've been so absent. Despite being busy I do love it. I just love drawing. I'm just breaking in a new sketchbook, so in the mean time I'll go ahead and post the rest of my barnyard poetry pages.
Hope you enjoy!
